“The last total solar eclipse visible in Ohio was in 1806. The next total solar eclipse in Ohio will be in the year 2099.” (Ohio Emergency Management Agency, website) This is truly a once in a lifetime event! In preparation for the solar eclipse the Wheelersburg Schools are announcing our school schedule and plans for the day. To allow families to observe and enjoy this event together we will be dismissing school two hours early on April 8th. All students and staff will be given solar eclipse glasses for safe eclipse viewing at home.
